With spectacular views stretching across the vineyards of the Wairau Valley, the cottage sits in a peaceful olive grove, alongside our family-owned working vineyard.
With the recent re-opening of SH1 - the main road between Blenheim and Kaikoura - after the earthquake of November 2016, things are now getting back to normal. Teams of wonderful, hard-working road-builders and engineers have done the most incredible job in the last 12 months, and the road is even better than before. You couldn’t be closer to the vineyards of Marlborough.
Our cottage sits alongside a working vineyard, with sweeping views of the vines and vistas of Blenheim, the Wairau Valley and across the Cook Strait to the North Island beyond - all there for you to take in from your private veranda. Harrier Hawks swoop and soar majestically across the valley below, whilst California Quail and pheasants wander quietly through the surrounding trees. A little slice of Paradise!
The open-plan living space is complete with a fully-equipped kitchen, large comfy couches, and a wood-burning fire. With a king-size bed (large double), this is the perfect romantic retreat, where the peace and tranquility of the countryside can be enjoyed uninterrupted. For those guests who love open-air cooking, we have provided a barbeque for you on the deck, overlooking the Wither Hills.
